Autonomous driving company WeRide disclosed its overseas Robotaxi revenue model for the first time in its first-half 2026 results released on the evening of August 12: rather than taking a commission on ride-hailing gross transaction volume, the company provides regulatory-approved and locally validated autonomous driving systems to overseas partners, charging ongoing technical service fees and per-mile fees.
