In one of the most memorable scenes from the famous Hollywood movie – The Minority Report, Tom Cruise gets into a vehicle which drives on its own, and then tries a daring escape while vehicles around him (all driverless) weave around at breakneck speed. Sixteen years later, we are almost close to making this a real life situation. The seeds for artificial intelligence (AI) in vehicles are firmly sown with the tech giants making deep forays into AI.
