Will self-driving vehicles erode America’s love affair with cars?
It’s no secret that by-and-large Americans love their cars. Many of us pamper them in the way we dote on a favored pet dog or cat. We rely upon our beloved cars to get us to work and to get us to the beach or up into the mountains for hiking, and treasure them for the freedom and independence they can provide. It’s not an easy relationship necessarily.
