Pony.ai, Toyota China, GAC Toyota to launch Robotaxi fleet in China

On April 25, Pony.ai, Toyota China, and GAC Toyota announced at the Auto China 2024 in Beijing that their joint venture is nearing completion of corporal registration. They plan to deploy a fleet of thousands of bZ4X autonomous driving vehicles in the Chinese market, seamlessly integrated into Pony.ai’s Robotaxi operation platform, to provide large-scale fully autonomous ride-share services in major cities across China.
