Oops, self-driving car tech has an adverse carbon footprint
The media constantly reminds us about the carbon footprint (CFP) that we are all producing.
In some cases, a carbon footprint is expressed for particular modes of transportation such as the amount of carbon dioxide emissions when you fly in a commercial airplane from Los Angeles to New York, or when you drive your gasoline powered car from Silicon Valley to Silicon Beach.
