New system allows self-driving cars to make more human decisions
Common worries associated with self-driving car technology are that it won’t be able to navigate safely or accurately when working autonomously. To help solve this problem, researchers now have created a new system that brings human reasoning into the self-driving equation. A team of scientists at MIT have created a system using simple maps and visual data to enable driverless cars to navigate routes in new, complex environments.
