New autonomous vehicle bill takes shape (Radio)

Congressional aides working on a self-driving car bill have yet to circulate draft text on one of the most-debated autonomous vehicle issues: whether a customer can sue in the event of a crash. The provision, known as forced arbitration, hasn’t been included in any of the six draft sections of a self-driving car bill circulated to industry groups so far by the House Energy and Commerce and Senate Commerce, Science, and Transportation committees.
