Hypodermic needles left in self-driving cars is an ominous harbinger of what’s to come

Recent news indicates that some workers at a prominent self-driving car company reported that they’ve found leftover hypodermic needles inside the driverless vehicles (the reporting was about Waymo, but please keep in mind that other self-driving car firms are subject to the same adverse activity).

Apparently, some passengers have opted to use hypodermic needles while inside the driverless cars or otherwise decided to “dispose” of the needles by carelessly leaving the dangerous artifacts inside the vehicle.
