How Brexit could derail U.K.’s bid to be leader in autonomous car development
A report published by U.K. trade association the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders (SMMT) and business consultancy firm Frost & Sullivan entitled Connected and Autonomous Vehicles: Winning the Global Race to Market, finds that the U.K. is in pole position in the global race to market for connected and autonomous vehicles (CAVs), but that achieving this goal is dependent on the U.K. reaching a favorable Brexit agreement with the European Union (E.U.).
