Funding to examine how self-driving vehicle technology can improve local transport
Six projects have received Government and industry funding to conduct feasibility studies on how self-driving vehicle technology can improve local transport. Northumberland, Solihull, Inverness and the Isle of Skye are some of the areas that will benefit from the £1.3 million in funding.The grants, part of the Centre for Connected and Autonomous Vehicles’ Commercialising Connected and Automated Mobility programme, will help build evidence on utilising emerging transport technologies
