Driverless car myth #1: We’ll fix it over-the-air
Getting an update to your smartphone or laptop computer via an Over-The-Air (OTA) capability is akin to a box of chocolates, you never know exactly what you’re gonna get. The vaunted ability to electronically beam changes to your electronic devices does offer some quite nifty advantages, but we need to recognize and acknowledge the downsides of such immediacy of making alterations to any complex system.
