Don’t throw rocks at the Google self-driving cars
Violence is not the answer, or at least so says Arizona transportation executive Rob Antoniak. On the heels of a December investigative report by the Arizona Republic on the backlash to Waymo’s self-driving vehicles, The New York Times recently reported that Phoenix-area residents are throwing rocks at Waymo self-driving vehicles, running them off the road, threatening assault, and even in one case waving a gun at a vehicle.
