Shopping for a new car today largely involves selecting the physical characteristics of the vehicle, from its color and trim to its engine specifications and interior accoutrements. As fully autonomous driverless cars eventually reach our roadways, could future car buyers have to weigh the ethical design and encoded values of their new purchases as well?
