Chinese ride-hailing giant Didi’s self-driving push
Chinese ride-hailing giant Didi Chuxing, which is backed by companies including Apple Inc. and SoftBank Group Corp., began a self-driving trial in Shanghai in the last weekend of June, and plans to expand the test to other cities in a bid to deploy 1 million autonomous cars on the street by 2030.
