Argo AI and Waymo release automated driving data sets
Until recently, the data collected by companies developing automated driving systems was a closely guarded secret. Automated vehicles (AVs) can collect 4TB or more of raw sensor data every day. In March of this year, Aptiv became the first of the large companies developing automated systems to publicly release a set of its sensor data. This week at the Computer Vision and Pattern Recognition (CVPR) 2019 conference in Long Beach, Waymo and Argo have also published datasets.
