Aptiv expands its automated driving development into China
Automotive supplier Aptiv is again expanding its automated driving test and development efforts. Following on its programs in the U.S. and Singapore, Aptiv is now opening a new mobility R&D facility in Shanghai, China. Aptiv and its predecessor companies Delphi and Delco (when it was still part of General Motors) have had a presence in the Chinese market since 1993 and the China Autonomous Mobility Center marks a new phase in the company’s operations.
