Oxbotica unveils the software complexity associated with autonomous vehicle testing
According to Oxbotica, a leading autonomous vehicle software provider, autonomous vehicles driving on London’s complex and congested streets are required to make 150 independent vehicle detections every second and to detect traffic lights in 1/2,000th of a second. The Oxford-based company is using its Universal Autonomy software as part of a trial involving five fully autonomous vehicles in London as part of the DRIVEN consortium.
