Schaeffler reveals Xtronic Control Unit for efficient autonomous driving
German automotive component manufacturer Schaeffler has developed a smart control unit for autonomous vehicles, which is dubbed as Xtronic control unit. As the company claims in a release, the Xtronic control unit is not dependent on any specific platform, and it ensures a comprehensive range of safety, monitoring, operating, and comfort functions. It also says that this control unit has entered volume production for several global OEMs.
