There’s a drivers ed course for those who test self-driving cars on public roads
The combination of fatal accidents involving self-driving test vehicles and a lack of public trust regarding their safety is leading many communities to ban or severely limit such testing on public streets. But U.K.-based CAT Driver Training has won accreditation for a four-day course aimed at teaching engineers and others involved in testing autonomous vehicles how to do so more safely.
