Roundtable on data for automated vehicle safety

On Thursday, December 7, 2017, the United States Department of Transportation (USDOT) hosted the Roundtable on Data for Automated Vehicle Safety. The roundtable demonstrated multimodal alignment around the “One DOT” approach to federal automated vehicle policy and marked the beginning of a new phase of dialogue with public and private sector stakeholders to accelerate the safe deployment of automated vehicles.
