NVIDIA: From the datacenter to the autonomous car
Some folks say that NVIDIA NVDA +5.11% has lost its early pole position in autonomous driving. Tesla TSLA -13.96% de-selected NVIDIA to power its autonomous vehicle computing, and BMW picked Intel INTC +3.08% to be its technology supplier for autonomous driving systems. However, considering the company NVIDIA keeps and its wide array of technology, expertise, and services, I wouldn’t count it out.
