Americans still wary of self-driving cars, many worry about hacking
Only a small percentage of drivers in the United States – about one in ten or 12% – said they trust automated vehicles (AV) and would feel safe riding in a car that drives itself. Even more drivers – 28% – said they are unsure of how they feel about the technology. And nearly half (49%) indicated that they wanted to know how vulnerable they would be to hackers.
